In the first six months of 2024, 87,655 children were born in Ukraine, and 250,972 people died.
Currently, the highest number of newborns is in Kyiv (9,695), Lviv region (7,923), and Dnipro region (6,962).
The lowest number of babies are born in the partially occupied regions – Kherson (221 babies in six months) and Donetsk (702). In Luhansk region, no newborns were recorded in six months.
